In order to mobilize denominational churches, assemblies and fellowships
all over the country for visual media evangelism, the second Sunday
in March every year is being observed as Visual Media Communications
Sunday since 1992 with a four-fold purpose:
1. To mobilize Churches, Fellowships and Assemblies to pray for
all missionary and evangelistic Agencies and their personnel to
produce, procure and use visual-media products for harvest-oriented
evangelism.
2. To challenge Christians to explore ways and means to generate
human and material resources to spearhead visual-media evangelism.
3. To pray for the provision of culturally relevant indigenous
visual-media products for evangelism in the countries of the 10/40
window.
4. To pray for Christian production companies and their personnel,
and for the professional associations who bring them together to
deliberate on the acceleration of our Lord's Great Commission
