In order to mobilize Christians and their families for
visual media evangelism, a bi-monthly magazine, THE
GALILEAN is being published since December 1997. "Responsible
living in the information age" is its theme. In the
information age, Visual Media Evangelism includes the
constant vigil Christians have to exercise in the use
of Television, Computers and a host of products made
available through them.
In the first place, it strives to help believers to
develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and
to provide practical help in understanding the Scriptures
in this 'information age'. It advocates a Christ-centered
lifestyle in every aspect of life and uplifts biblical
ideals for families.
Secondly, it explores all possibilities of producing and using visual-media products for the growth of the Church from within and without. A prophetic dimension of harvest-centered evangelism is being emphasized for church-planting operations. It deals with contemporary needs and issues related to visual-media from a biblical perspective.
